I led the P&L and growth strategy for SAEL\'s Agri Waste to Energy business. SAEL is a pioneer and leading player in India for biomass, currently operating 11 plants with 2 additional plants under construction across 3 states. We process over 2 million tons of agricultural residue annually, addressing the pollution caused by stubble burning while generating clean electrical energy. All our plants are equipped with state-of-the-art European boiler technology, advanced emission control devices, and digital AI-based operations and maintenance tools. SAEL aims to double its biomass capacity in the next 3 years and play a significant role both in India and internationally.
