One Young World Ambassador @One Young World
I am a One Young Ambassador, initially being selected as a delegate for One Young World 2022, representing PwC UK. Thereafter, I led PwC\'s internal One Young World network as an Ambassador. An Ambassador\'s role entails using their platform to create an impact in their countries, communities and organisations.Some of the areas of impact we as a team have been able to make inroads on consist of the following- Spreading participation in the One Young World network and encouraging impact across PwC global territories such as Netherlands, Japan, Ireland, Malawi, Norway, Germany, and Switzerland- Working directly with ESG partners across the globe to invest in sustainability impact organisations and provide them with a stage to further their expansion through events such as COP 28- Building social mobility projects that provide fellow staff with opportunities to volunteer, deepen PwC\'s impact with youth from underrepresented communities, making sure to prioritise quality of impact above all -\"Doing good rather than just looking good\"- Successfully proposed to senior partners for support and training being provided to staff on the topic of gender-based violence.
