ABOUT HEMAL TAILOR

Currently Head of IT for Transport supporting a number of customers across the DHL NTS estate. The role focuses on maintaining IT services to the standards expected across DHL Supply Chain, ensuring digitalisation and new solutions are available and understood. I also support project implementations on a variety of contracts, which include renewals, new business wins, continuous improvement and standardisation activities. Previously I have been in the role of Regional IT manager and IT Project Manager within DHL. I have either been the lead manager or have supported the project management of a variety of projects within the DHL Supply Chain business, which includes sectors such as Life Sciences, Automotive, Retail and Specialist Supply Chain services.I have many years of experience working in high pressure customer environments utilising stakeholder management skills and communication methods to ensure projects are a success regardless of the situations faced. I have helped bridge customer relations with the use of communication and management styles to provide control and confidence in project delivery methods. This includes management of work streams teams and suppliers to ensure results are achieved and targets are delivered. All projects I have worked on involved the use of planning tools, risks assessments, control processes and change management methods to ensure projects are a success.Specialties: Project Management, Computer Systems Validation, Testing, Warehouse Management Systems, Training, Integration and Stakeholder management, Project delivery and process mapping.
