ABOUT VIRGINIE CAPLET

Hey there I am Virginie [viʁʒini]. A Berlin-based product design manager with a serious fondness for happy teams and happy users.For 15+ years I have been using my design skills in a wide range of projects and platforms, and with various team configurations. Over the years, I have built a solid experience in core product design skills like user research, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, interface design, design thinking, and more structural areas like agile facilitation, team setup, and product management.I am a strong believer and practitioner of lean and agile methods which I use as a framework for leading and enabling design in my teams and projects.As a passionate facilitator and product person, I not only supported various products at key moments of their lifecycle by facilitating scoping, inception, post-mortems but also taught these methods to a wide range of audiences from curious engineers to members of the office leadership team.Content writing as well as product and project management are also domains where I enjoyed growing over the last years.In the most recent years, I felt the need to contribute to consolidating the knowledge and skills portfolio of teams and organizations I was part of by creating a growth path framework, supporting the creation of communities of practice, providing mentorship and workshops, and creating a practice playbook.
