About Hellen Tellez
My name is Hellen Tellez, and I am a Finance student at the University of Houston specializing in Commercial Real Estate.With a strong background in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), I served three years in the US Army as an operator of unmanned combat aircrafts where I had the privilege of demonstrating leadership, discipline, and commitment throughout my military service.At the University of Houston, I am the former president and an active member of the Undergraduate Real Estate Scholars (URES), the university\'s commercial real estate club, where I managed and organized all operations of the club\'s executive team and facilitated the recruitment of employers and programs for the UH Real Estate Career Fair. Through my active engagement in this student-led organization, I participate in on-site property tours, lead educational workshops, and compete in CRE case competitions to strengthen my skillset and gain exposure from industry experts and professionals. I am currently pursuing internship opportunities that will allow me to gain hands-on experience and further deepen my understanding of the CRE industry. Upon my graduation in 2027, my goal is to become a Financial Analyst at a Commercial Real Estate firm that will allow me the opportunity to apply my detailed work ethic, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, to real-world scenarios and challenges.
