I will graduate in May 2026 with a B.S. in Psychology, a minor in Sociology, and a Certificate in Social Work & Social Welfare. My education has deepened my interest in understanding how trauma, environment, and social systems shape people’s lives and access to support.Over the past several years, I have worked closely with children in both home and school settings, including supporting autistic children as a respite care provider and one-to-one paraprofessional. I currently work as a swim instructor, where I teach water safety and help children build confidence and trust in themselves. These experiences have shaped my empathy, patience, and commitment to supporting others.I hope to continue building a career in victim advocacy, case management, or social services, where I can combine my education and hands-on experience to help people navigate challenges, access resources, and feel supported during difficult times.

Provide swim instruction and water safety education to children and beginner swimmers in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Adapt teaching approaches to accommodate swimmers with disabilities, sensory sensitivities, and varying learning needs while promoting confidence and skill development in the water. Maintain constant lifeguard surveillance to ensure safety, enforce pool policies, and respond to emergencies when necessary. Support daily pool operations as a deck ambassador by assisting families, coordinating lesson transitions, and creating a welcoming environment.
