ABOUT HELEN MAZA
I recently graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in Public Relations and a minor in Event Management. During college, I gained hands-on experience in customer service and sales while working at Palm Beach Tan in Ashburn, VA, where I developed strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset. I also served as the Viceroy for Barstool affiliate @Vtchicks and the Social Relations Coordinator for Alpha Chi Omega, where I led social media initiatives, coordinated events, and strengthened our chapter’s brand presence on campus. These roles fueled my passion for strategic communication and relationship-building. As a bilingual communicator (fluent in English and Spanish), I bring the ability to engage with diverse audiences and support inclusive, culturally aware messaging. I’ve also completed courses through HubSpot Academy and actively network with professionals in the industry to stay up to date on trends. I’m now excited to launch my career in PR, where I can contribute creativity, organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit to a fast-paced team.
