ABOUT HELEN L.
With over 20 years of experience in public and third-sector communications, I help organisations lead with clarity, ethics, and digital confidence.I’ve delivered strategic campaigns, brand development, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communications across health, education, housing, utilities, and charity sectors — including Welsh Water, Coleg Gwent, the NHS, Alzheimer’s Society, and several local authorities.Over the past three years, I’ve focused intensively on the evolving role of AI in leadership communication. I’ve explored how tools like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and generative AI can be embedded into leadership, communication, and reputation strategies. This work includes developing an AI-driven crisis communications platform for regulated and values-led organisations. To strengthen my ability to lead digital transformation, I’m also completing a full-stack software development programme — not to become a developer, but to deepen my understanding of how digital tools are built, governed, and deployed ethically. At the heart of my work is a commitment to responsible innovation, trust, and public value — ensuring leadership teams have the confidence to adopt AI in a way that strengthens both impact and integrity.
