Research and identify Federal and New York State public funding and private funding sources to augment resources for district educational programs. Programs include Title I; Title II; Title and Title IV grants; Smart Start; My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) grants; Universal Pre-K Programs. • Plan, prepare and submit grant applications in alignment with district initiatives. • Work with District Assistant Superintendents and Program Directors to oversee existing grants to ensure compliance with requirements. • Process grants payments and provide an efficient process for tracking payments. • Manage the completion of required grant reporting. Provide monthly/quarterly grant status updates on active projects. • Monitor grants for fiscal compliance. • Maintain contacts with Federal, State, county and private agency personnel as well as school district officials. • Assist the administrators and professional staff in planning for the utilization of funds available to the schools within the district. • Obtain information, data and applications forms necessary to fulfill requirements of grant applications • Assume responsibility for the completion and submission of all proposals and amendments. • Assist in the grant reconciliation process, by providing required project deliverables, participant metrics, and program materials. • Serve as liaison between the schools and other agencies on all projects of a joint community nature that involve the schools.
