ABOUT HÉLÈNE CLARK
I am a business-oriented bilingual senior entertainment lawyer with over 25 years of international experience in the film, television, and music industries. As Group General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at RodeoFX Group incl. Mikros Animation, I oversee corporate & legal strategy, contract negotiations, and intellectual property management for the animation and VFX businesses. My expertise spans content production, post-production services, rights management, and international tax incentives, allowing me to navigate the complex legal and business landscapes of the entertainment industry. Throughout my career, I have provided legal guidance on high-profile projects, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations such as GDPR while managing critical aspects of income compliance, music publishing, and royalty payments. I also have extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, from due diligence to post-closing integration, and I have led teams in high-pressure environments, balancing legal precision with strategic decision-making. Before joining RodeoFX Group (incl. Mikros Animation), I held senior business & legal positions at Technicolor Group, MK2, Emme Interactive, and Lagardère Group, where I specialized in international production, distribution, sales rights management, and multimedia licensing. My career also initially took me to New York, where I worked as a legal assistant at Fox Lorber Associates, expanding my global perspective on the industry. Beyond my corporate roles, I served as General Secretary of the Technicolor Foundation for Cinema Heritage, where I negotiated partnerships for film restoration and advised on intellectual property matters. I remain engaged in legal commissions and industry working groups, contributing to the ongoing evolution of entertainment law. I hold a Master’s degree in Entertainment Law and Business from Panthéon-Sorbonne (now \"D2A\") and a Bachelor of English and French Laws from the University of West London. Fluent in English and French, with proficiency in Spanish and German, I thrive in international environments and enjoy working across cultures.
