ABOUT HELEN BURGESS
Helen Burgess has 15 years’ experience as a cross-cultural coach, trainer and facilitator. She specializes in delivering interactive workshops and international executive coaching programs to support and equip managers and teams with new ways of thinking and new skills to excel in an international business environment. Her areas of specialty are: Global leadership International teams and team building International communication Key talent development Change Management Global mobility Coach supervison for executive and leadership coaches Helen delivers programs (in person and virtually) in both English and Italian. She has delivered training and coaching for world-class companies across most industries. Helen’s approach is that of “learning through action” and building on the knowledge, experience and real-life challenges of each client. She uses role play, models, tools, case studies and exercises to create self awareness, learning and focus on action. Helen worked for Unilever for 10 years in international leadership roles in the UK, the Netherlands and Italy. Her experience includes: International Project Manager - led multi-functional international teams to develop and launch new products for global markets, working with diverse and talented global colleagues. Global Consumer Research Manager responsible for strategic alignment of innovation projects based on deep understanding of the attitudes, behaviours and values of global consumers. Cultural Change Leader responsible for leading and implementing a major cultural change program that created a culture of empowerment and continuous improvement at all organisational levels. She has a PhD from University College Dublin, and continues her philosophy of life- long learning via industry training courses. She is a member of The International Coaching Federation (ICF) and SIETAR.
