1.) Mortgage Industry Experience – I have performed and managed most roles within the mortgage industry, so I have a deep understanding of technology workflows, efficiency opportunities, and turn-time goals. 2.) Mortgage Technology Experience – I was involved with the development of one of the first mortgage LOS’s, Contour, and have continued to gain both user and administrative experience in many different systems over the years. I am able to quickly learn new technology and gain proficiency. I bridge the gap between Operation, Sales, and Technology! 3.) Personality – I am a very warm and friendly person by nature. I am very compassionate when listening to a user’s technology challenges. Technology is not everyone’s “Friend”. I am passionate about the work that I do and the mortgage industry as a whole. I bring a positive and highly productive energy to the areas that I work in. 4.) Technical Writer – I am highly experienced in creating Quick Guides, User Guides, and Training Materials for mortgage sales and operations users. I am able to take complex technology functionality and prepare guides that are user friendly and easy to understand. I also prepare short video guides to accompany guide documents so that there is an interactive cadence to learning new technology.5.) Corporate Trainer – I greatly enjoy training users in the mortgage industry and mortgage technology. I am able to create an energetic and enjoyable environment for students to learn. I prepare training schedules and user homework assignments during classes so that each user gains hands-on experience. Individuals learn technology in many ways, so I integrate different learning methodologies into my classes. 6.) Mortgage Compliance – I have been in the mortgage industry for over 3 decades. I have compliance officer experience and have a strong understanding of TRID and compliance calculations. 7.) UAT/Quality Analysis – I developed and trained the QA Testing Team at Mortgage Builder LOS Software. I can write testing scripts for both change testing, migration testing, and regression testing. I can analyze sales/operations technology enhancement requests to determine the regulatory, far-reaching impacts in the system, and the loan process in its entirety. I can offer alternative solutions as needed to better solve for the requested enhancement goals presented. I can talk through challenges with mortgage sales and all positions of operations in mortgage specific language, and present technical solutions to developers that will resolve pain points for each user role.
