About Helena Almeida

As Vice President, Managing Counsel and AI Legal Officer at ADP, I lead a team of lawyers who support ADP’s HR and Benefits products and services, ensuring those offerings are developed with compliance in mind. I partner closely with ADP\'s product management and development teams to design and implement responsible AI products. In that role, I co-lead ADP’s generative AI governance process and support our initiatives relating to new AI laws, including the EU AI Act, and represent Legal on ADP’s AI and Data Ethics Council. I have over 20 years of experience representing companies across various industries on issues involving enterprise-level risk. I am passionate about providing creative and cost-effective advice to senior management - and I always do so with the business’s strategic goals in mind. I received my JD from New York University School of Law and a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
