About Helen Yung

I am an educator and administrator who is committed to developing the whole child. Through positive behavioral management and a commitment to students\' linguistic, academic, socioemotional, and cultural make-up, students are truly able to grow and flourish when surrounded by caring adults who think out-of-the box and remain committed to the cause of educational excellence and SEL health. I served as a teacher trainer and have experience building capacity and sustainability in K-G12 schools. I have devoted the last 15 years to providing resources and expertise to students who are linguistically and culturally diverse in urban school districts. I am committed to collaborate, to develop systems, and to connect with other educators in order to drive change and bring about student achievement and positive learning supports.
