I pride myself on putting people at the heart of the organisation and believe this is key to heightened Employee engagement, improved job satisfaction, motivated committed teams who share the company’s vision. As Southern and Central Head of HR for House of Fraser, I led a 12 strong UK wide HR Business Partner team, shaping and implementing the People agenda, driving HR strategies, policies and practices, and leading multiple large scale initiatives/projects often in complex operational environments. These included leading organisational restructures and design, TUPE Acquisitions and Divestments, management of Employee Relations, and Employee Health and Wellbeing and Employee Engagement initiatives.I am a problem solver with excellent interpersonal, communication and delivery skills. This supports me to influence senior stakeholders and build strong and trusted business relationships.I have proven ability in facilitating and leading strategic change, large scale and senior appointment recruitment, performance management, employee health and wellbeing, succession/manpower planning, talent management, learning and development and with excellent knowledge of complex Employee case management and acting as HR counsel to senior leaders. I have multi sector experience including Customer focused, Client Services, IT and Financial sectors. I am personable, empathetic and articulate and adopt a pragmatic, people focused approach to problem solving. I have significant experience of managing and developing HR teams and management teams and have a passion for people development and continuous improvement - coaching, developing and mentoring teams to maximise their potentialI have extensive experience of delivering and developing strong People solutions and creating frameworks, which meet the needs of the business.I have worked as a successful senior HR leader for House of Fraser, Motability Operations PLC and Mitie (Facilities Management) PLC.
