ABOUT HELEN BLAIR

A passionate professional and team player, who enjoys inspiring others through storytelling in all formats. After over a decade at the BBC as a Senior Content Producer, I am now a Freelance Digital Producer and Course Leader and Facilitator providing training for broadcasters, social enterprises, charities and more. I currently lead Channel 4\'s flagship training programme, Content Creatives. I am also a writer, agented by Francesca Riccardi of the Kate Nash Literary Agency. I have experience writing fiction, for screen and radio and copywriting. My experience includes working on several award-nominated projects, most recently a short form piece I wrote and produced which was nominated for a Kids\' BAFTA. I am also an accredited creative leader, coach and facilitator. I have worked on a multitude of projects during my career, including Content creation - short form, games, apps and virtual events Social Media - digital marketing, campaigns, events, brand management 🤔 Development - concept work, pitching, presenting in both TV and digital arenas Writing - copywriting, fiction, journalism and scriptwriting Teaching - Course development, delivery, coaching and facilitation I currently volunteer as the Mentor Lead for Children\'s Books North, managing their annual mentor scheme for aspiring publishers and previously mentored at Arts Emergency.
