ABOUT HELEN TRUJILLO
I am interested in Latin American politics, economics, and socio-cultural aspects. Currently studying International Studies, Economics to develop an understanding of political and economic decisions taken by the International entities and how these decisions affect society. My passion for Latin America derives from the fact that I am Ecuadorian-Colombian and have grown up in a community where Latinos all had varying stories that encompassed the desire for the \"American Dream\" and how their experiences in their countries led them to seek refuge or new opportunities in the United States. Each of their stories is a small piece of the puzzle that is Latin America and its rich history.
