About Helen Scarborough
Helen recently graduated Cum Laude from Harvard College as a member of the Class of 2025 with a degree in History & Science and Global Health & Health Policy. During her senior year, she completed an honors thesis that examined the history of quality care and rhetoric in the American healthcare system, which was awarded a grade of Magna Cum Laude with High Honors. She recently completed her work with two research teams on literature review-centered public health studies. The former is with a team based out of Massachusetts General Hospital creating a “go-to” list of surgical complications to be used in the field for the foreseeable future, and the latter is with a team based out of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Mount Sinai Hospital in New York studying the psychosocial barriers encountered by breast cancer patients in low- and middle-income countries through patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs).
