ABOUT HELEN ROWAN
I am currently an ABA Therapist and Teacher. Trained in Education, Psychology, and Applied Behavior Analysis, I enjoy the process of assessment, teaching, and therapy. I am a strong believer in the use of Evidence-Based therapies, yet I remain open to potential new interventions. Since the etiology of Autism remains ambiguous, I am passionate about pursuing new inquiries into causes and treatments. I am also interested in Parent Education, Writing, and Research. I feel that ABA Services being delivered domestically and internationally could be significantly enhanced by systematically training parents and caregivers to be active agents in the delivery of therapeutic procedures. Lastly, I am deeply concerned about advocacy for children on the spectrum, as well as their families.
