ABOUT HELEN RENNY
I\'m currently working as the Project Co-ordinator on a 164 acre wilding project situated in the Kent Downs National Landscape. This role involves an understanding of nature conservation and restoration of ancient and coppiced deciduous woodland, chalk grassland, post-agricultural (arable) rewilded emerging scrub and reinstating wildflower meadows. Liaising with wildlife bodies and academics. Overseeing the conversion of farmhouse and stable block into accommodation for nature retreats, meeting space and studios. Design of photovoltaic array, energy storage, heat pump and private water supply (borehole). Application to various grants and funding schemes. Marketing of site. 11 years previous experience of designing renewable energy systems (PV, heat pumps, solar thermal and biomass) for domestic and small commercial projects, freelance and for Invicta Clean Energy Limited. Background in lecturing, research and managing courses in Higher Education.
