ABOUT HELEN NEWSON
I’m a third-year Psychology undergraduate at the University of Bath, currently completing a year-long placement with the University of Exeter’s AccEPT Clinic as a Clinical Assistant Psychologist and Research Assistant. In this role, I support the delivery of novel evidence-based psychological therapies, contribute to clinical research, and gain hands-on experience with assessment, data management, and client-facing work. My placement is helping me build a strong foundation in clinical practice and psychological wellbeing interventions, which aligns with my longer-term goal of pursuing a career in clinical psychology.
