ABOUT HELEN GILL
I’m delighted to be joining The Owl Centre as Chief of Clinical Services, bringing together my clinical background and leadership experience to help shape and support high-quality, client-centred care.A Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist by background, I have a particular interest in neurodevelopment, PDA, and paediatric dysphagia (children’s feeding). I am trained in both ADOS and ADI-R, and remain deeply passionate about ensuring services are responsive, evidence-based, and truly family-focused.Prior to this role, I held senior clinical leadership positions at Healios, where I was Head of Clinical Division for Neurodevelopment. I also founded and developed Melios, Healios’ private brand, delivering services both directly to families and in collaboration with PMIs.My career spans over two decades across the NHS and independent sectors, including founding Time4Talking Ltd in 2013 and serving as SEN Director for a Primary Multi Academy Trust. Earlier in my career, I worked in Child Development Centres, hospitals and community clinics from 1997 to 2013. I’ve also appeared on Channel 4’s Born Naughty? in support of awareness around complex needs in children.I’m fortunate to work alongside incredible teams - clinical and commercial - who are as committed as I am to delivering exceptional services with heart, humour, and high standards.
