I lead CORAL’s efforts to turn science to action by putting the “alliance” in our name to work, building from our cutting-edge research to impactful collaborations at local and global scales that can collectively address the crisis facing coral reefs. Our goal is to enable \"evolutionary rescue\" of reefs in the future by working now to conserve a diverse portfolio of coral reefs with differing species, variable environmental conditions and significant connectivity. I continue to advise the Field Engagement component of the Allen Coral Atlas partnership, and am leading “next generation” projects that have emerged to investigate the potential for the Atlas to inform large-scale reef resilience and conservation.
