ABOUT HELEN FALKNER

As the daughter of a physician, I grew up seeing firsthand how access to care — or the lack of it — shapes patients, families, and entire communities. That early exposure to medicine didn’t just influence my career choice; it grounded my belief that connecting the right physicians and advanced practice providers to the right organizations is about more than filling roles. It’s about strengthening care where it’s needed most.I joined Jackson Physician Search in 2012 and have grown my career here, learning the business from the ground up. Over more than a decade in physician recruitment and seven years in leadership roles, I’ve worked across every stage of the recruitment lifecycle — from strategic sourcing and candidate engagement to contracts, incentives, and long-term retention. Most recently, as Partner and Regional Vice President of our Western Division, I had the privilege of leading and developing one of our largest recruiting teams while supporting healthcare organizations nationwide.What continues to motivate me is the responsibility that comes with this work: helping physicians and advanced practice providers find environments where they can thrive, and helping healthcare organizations build sustainable access to care for the communities they serve. Whether addressing rural recruitment challenges, succession planning, or the ongoing physician shortage, I believe meaningful connections — built on trust, transparency, and cultural alignment — are what lead to lasting impact.I am a frequent speaker at regional and national healthcare conferences on physician recruitment, retention, and workforce strategy, and I am proud to have been recognized as a two-time Recruiter of the Year, a multiple-time Recruiter of the Quarter, and a 2023 career achievement award recipient.
