ABOUT HELEN EASTERLING WILLIAMS
I was named “2019 EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR” by the Los Angeles Business Journal Women’s Council. I am an experienced private sector Founder and President and a higher education senior leadership team member. With a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry, I am skilled in Global Leadership, Educational Technology, Community Engagement, Organizational Development, Student Development, Student Leadership, and Adult Education. People often characterize me as a strong business development professional with an earned Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) focused in Educational Leadership from University of Delaware.I am an effective and engaging orator who cares deeply about the well-being of the organization I serve and the people within it. Inspiring others to perform in a spirit of excellence is a natural byproduct of my communication and relationship with them. Collaborations with China, India, UAE, Egypt, Singapore, Belize, Costa Rica, and Cuba help to prepare participants with a global leadership mindset especially as it relates to economic stability. I am a visionary for creating an environment for technological innovation and learning particularly through online l education. As a digital disruptor, I used data analytics to gather information for creating a new business model, implementing new programming, installing new technology in the three in-house counseling clinics (21 clinic rooms) that enabled us to enhance our psychological counseling services primarily to low income, unemployed, and homeless residents of the Greater Los Angeles community, and establishing three new market driven online programs. We used technology to create the Optimal Engagement Immersion Pedagogy that permits students to participate in online learning beyond the capability provided by Zoom and other platforms. Establishing an Emerging Technology Center (flipped classroom) provided space for teachers and students to innovate. Over the last 8 years, student enrollment increased by nearly 236.2% and revenue actual increased by approximately 340%, and this through a pandemic. Truly, team work does make the dream work.
