Helen Deacon is the Co-Founder and CEO of tip me â the global tip, a social tech initiative that enables consumers to send digital tips directly to the people who make their products â from garment workers to cocoa farmers. tip me builds bridges of appreciation, transparency, and fairness in global supply chains, and has already facilitated over in direct support to workers across more than 10 countries.With a background in international development and peace and security studies, Helen is passionate about designing solutions that enable people to become part of the solution to global problems. Her work has been recognized by institutions such as Fairtrade Germany and the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU).As a speaker and advocate, Helen focuses on reimagining the global economy through the lenses of empathy, technology, and systems change. She lives with her family in Berlin and works every day to help shift the narrative from greenwashing to real impact.
