ABOUT HELEN CONCILIA

Hi, I’m Helen, Executive Director of Commercial Operations for CSL Seqirus, one of the world’s largest influenza vaccine manufacturers. After over 20 years with CSL, I’ve recently moved from Australia to the UK, where I manage commercial operations for the UK & Ireland. But my career actually started in the laboratory, working as a Laboratory Scientist in Public Health and then as a Microbiologist at Cadbury Schweppes, before moving into the field of Commercial Operations. Over the course of my international career, I’ve been involved in the launch of multi-faceted campaigns of national significance in various fields, from influenza and sexual health to travel and antivenoms. One of my proudest achievements was being part of the ‘Join The Fight Against Cervical Cancer’ campaign, contributing to over 1.2M Australians being vaccinated against Human Papillomavirus in 20••••07.Nurturing talent and creating space for every voice in our organisation and industry to be heard and amplified is one of my biggest priorities. Led by the desire to create positive change and lead our people by example, I’ve recently joined The Common Purpose Programme for senior leaders – a globally renowned initiative where I’ll collaborate and learn from fellow leaders and alumni in over 45 countries.Curious by nature, when I am not at the office, you’ll find me walking around London, exploring museums, and admiring all kinds of art – while dreaming about my next holiday in the Greek islands.If you’d like to find out more about careers at CSL Seqirus, or you are looking for mentorship and possibly thinking about making a cross-country career move, do get in touch – I’d love to hear from you.
