Monitor the EU Official Journal & UK Statutory Instruments to identify published regulations impacting Avon’s ingredients & packaging sourced or products sold in EMEA and prepare initial Avon impact assessment.•Collate, track and assess the impact of EU/ UK ingredient-related regulatory changes from intelligence received from both internal and external sources.•Work with cross-functional stakeholders to confirm EMEA activity of globally released products impacted by EU/ UK regulatory restrictions, bans, required label changes, or by Avon policy decisions. Lead and drive cross-functional regulatory projects that require labelling changes and /or reformulations; ensuring that regulatory transition dates are met whilst minimising business impact.•Review temporary ingredient substitutions for regulatory permissibility to support business related issues.•Manage a Regulatory Affairs Technician, including recruiting, workload planning, training and mentoring, and performance evaluation against agreed personal targets and company KPI’s ensuring priorities and goals in specialist projects i.e. vegan claims are achieved within agreed timescales.•Ensure that mandated EU/ UK Product Information File (PIF) documentation is obtained from our outside vendors and contract manufacturers and is in line with regulatory requirements.•Reviewing new raw materials for EU/ UK Cosmetic permissibility, biodiversity impact, microplastic IFUD labelling and EUDR (European Deforestation Regulation).•Manage monthly ingredient monitoring meetings between Regulatory Affairs & Toxicology and capture agreed actions and escalate decisions.•Represent Avon at Cosmetics Europe’s group focused on ESPR (Ecodesign for Sustainable Products) including DPP (Digital Product Passport) requirements plus others as required based on business need.•Recommend improvement and simplification of processes and update procedures accordingly within the EMEA Regulatory Team
