I possess a robust scientific foundation in medical biology and stem cell biology, which I have applied effectively in both interdisciplinary projects and induvial projects. These projects spanned through my doctoral research at Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, and my subsequent postdoctoral work at the University of Cambridge. Notable examples outside of my research duties where I applied my scientific expertise include:Channel Administration at PLOS ONE Stem Cell Channel: In my capacity as a Channel Administrator, I harnessed my profound scientific knowledge to facilitate the smooth functioning of the PLOS ONE Stem Cell Channel. This role allowed me to bridge my scientific acumen with administrative skills.Freelance Scientific Illustration: My creative inclinations met my scientific background in my freelance role as a scientific illustrator. I contributed to web content creation for the EuroStem website, where I translated complex scientific concepts into visually engaging material.Facilitating and Coordinating Seminars:Inviting pertinent speakers to drive the expansion of product-related business.Over the past years, I have complemented my scientific background with valuable commercial experience. My journey has included roles as a sales specialist, inside sales professional, and my current position as a business development specialist, where I am actively expanding the proteomic market. In this role, I employ a strategic and creative approach, leveraging a unique combination of scientific expertise and business acumen to drive success.
