1. Southwest Field Director

   Western Reserve Land Conservancy

   Feb 2023 — Present · OH, US

   Identified and originated key conservation opportunities and relationships with diverse regional partners. Negotiated purchase & sale agreements, conservation easements, and other contracts with landowners and other parties. Administered project planning, tracking, and budgeting mechanisms. Optimized funding of complex real estate transactions with an understanding of major grant funding sources. Wrote and secured grants for land acquisition as-needed. Contributed to carbon credit sequestration program. Served as Vice Chair of the internal DEIJ steering committee and Chair of the Transactions Team weekly meetings. Managed internal administration of a capacity building sub-award from the Ohio Coastal Management Program, awarded through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). Supervised a 3-year, grant-funded Carbon Credit Specialist position beginning in September 2025.
