ABOUT HEIKO STIEBER
Heiko Stieber started as a PV professional at the SMA Solar Technology Ag in 2001 gaining his experiences in international multi-megawatt PV projects worldwide, using small PV inverters (decentralized PV plant design). In 2008 his main focus was the combination of PV production and small electrical grids, defining solutions and business cases for the combination of gensets (combustion engine driven electrical generation sets) with PV inverters. In his role as Senior Project Manager Hybrid Applications he analyzed, designed and commissioned PV / genset hybrid plants in different locations in the last years. His main focus markets for industrial PV hybrid solutions were India, Asia, Africa and Arabia, now he is in charge of the LATAM region.He is an expert on PV inverters, PV energy production and the grid connection of PV systems. Due to his background as mechanical engineer he also has in deep knowledge on combustion engines and gensets.
