ABOUT HEIKO GMINDER
Organizations grow and generate value through making strategic business decisions that also require taking risks. Identifying, managing and responding to these risks helps them to grow and remain successful. We – EY’s Enterprise Risk team - help our clients building agile and risk-aware organizations that make better decisions to achieve their strategic objectives. This includes transforming their risk functions and processes as well as implementing sustainable GRC solutions. I started my career in IT audit supporting our financial auditors as well as conducting project reviews and certifying accounting software. I specialized in SAP ERP software and after auditing systems and processes I also helped my clients designing and implementing security concepts and internal controls to protect their assets and to comply with laws and regulations such as SOX 404. I lead our SAP Security and GRC community in GSA. We integrate risk and control aspects into large scale SAP transformations through embedding intelligent controls into business processes and leveraging technology such as RPA/DPA to automate controls.
