Heidy Mendoza, a Los Angeles native with a passion for design and innovation, brings more than a decade of experience navigating diverse industries, including entertainment, media, healthcare, commercial real estate, and sustainable energy. She has worked with major media networks and global brands, leveraging her expertise to drive impactful marketing and design initiatives.Mendoza earned a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design with a focus on Entertainment Graphics from Woodbury University and began her career at Univision Communications. There, she refined her skills on local and network campaigns for brands like Toyota, Nissan, AltaMed, and Kaiser Permanente, contributing to high-profile live events such as the Rose Parade and the World Cup.She later joined Azteca America Network, where she led a global team, and worked closely with U.S-based affiliates. There, she crafted graphic and sales packages, created event promotions, and supported advertising initiatives in collaboration with the Mexico City headquarters team.Moving on to another multicultural network, she reached new milestones as a Senior Art Director at NuvoTV, where she played a key role in refreshing the brand, working across digital media, marketing, and programming. She worked closely with the CEO and executive team in high-level meetings, guiding the network through a merger with a high-profile celebrity brand while managing pitch decks, photo sessions, and network promotions, solidifying her expertise in brand strategy and creative direction.In 2021, Mendoza transitioned into healthcare, broadening her expertise and exploring new professional opportunities before moving to San Diego in 2022.
