I’ve spent my career working inside small, mid-sized, and large organizations where people, payroll, policy, and risk all intersect — and where even small decisions can have very real financial and human consequences. I care deeply about getting those decisions right.For more than 20 years, I served in senior human resources and labor relations roles within public school districts, including as an Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. In that work, I partnered closely with superintendents, finance and payroll teams, principals, and union leadership to manage everything from contracts and negotiations to benefits, compliance, and workforce planning. I also worked extensively with CalPERS and CalSTRS, and I understand how tightly employee systems, budgets, and regulatory requirements are connected.Today, I bring that operational and financial perspective into workers’ compensation and risk management at Keenan. I work alongside HR, business, and risk leaders to analyze WC data, identify cost-driving trends, and build practical programs — especially around return-to-work, policy alignment, and process design — that reduce claim duration while supporting both people and organizations.What really drives me is building systems that work in the real world, not just on paper. When HR, finance, and operations are aligned, employees feel supported, disputes drop, and organizations stay healthy and focused on what matters most.I’m known for being steady, strategic, and collaborative — someone who shows up fully, cares deeply about the work, and brings clarity and follow-through to complex, high-stakes situations.
