Support the Associate Deans of the BSN program, clinical faculty, and over 800 nursing students by coordinating clinical and practicum placements. Serve as the primary liaison between the College of Nursing, students, and major health systems across Northeast Ohio, overseeing compliance, orientation, and onboarding for more than student experiences annually.Developed strategy to facilitate the tracking of both undergraduate and graduate nursing students using Typhon and AceMapp.Implemented Google Sheets to manage clinical and practicum rotations for undergraduate students, offering visual and editorial access to specific teammates to build each semester’s experience. Developed Canvas (previously Blackboard) resource courses for both bachelor and graduate nursing programs to provide students and faculty with precise instructions for onboarding and orienting at each hospital system. Trained a replacement for myself for the graduate program to manage nursing students using Typhon and Canvas.Created Free Continuing Education program for precepting nurses who support KSU Nursing students. Worked with Ohio Board of Nursing to develop a paperless system of collecting, verifying, distributing, and storing of Preceptor License Verification Data Forms for the college, which simultaneously created a database of nursing contacts in NEO to use for future clinical faculty for the college. Created a Canvas course to support international students of nursing with additional local-specific information regarding housing, food, social supports, and more.
