About Heidi Johnson Bixby
As the owner and ‘architect’ of Johnson Bixby, I’ve dedicated my career to helping guide people toward the lives they envision. It’s my dream job!One of my earliest lessons about money came from my parents, who always said, “If you want it, save your pennies.” This simple advice is one of the cornerstones of my approach to financial planning, and I love sharing it with others.My journey in financial planning began in 1991 as an assistant to our company’s founder, Deborah Johnson. Achieving my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1997 and purchasing the remaining 50% of the firm in 2008 have been pivotal moments along the path. Today, I lead the firm with a clear vision and purpose: to help clients create the lives they dream of, give back to the financial planning profession, and invest in our community through financial education and empowerment.Over the past 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of chairing or serving on the boards of numerous nonprofits and business organizations. Currently, I serve as the board treasurer of Global Sojourns Giving Circle. In 2022, I was the catalyst for Ripple Impact NW, a nonprofit focused on inspiring local philanthropy.Beyond my professional life, I have a passion for design (I’ve designed two homes!). Travel and photography are also my great loves—taking me to explore over 30 countries, from Africa to Bangladesh and Shanghai. Capturing the beauty and diversity of the world through my camera lens brings me immense joy.I’m excited to continue this journey, building meaningful connections and making a positive impact wherever I can!
