About Heidi Byrd

As the Director of Project Management at Avertium, a prominent provider of cybersecurity solutions for mid-size enterprises, I support a team of project managers who manage approximately 500 small-medium-scale cybersecurity projects annually. Projects cover many different security frameworks, assessments, and testing across diverse industries such as technology, healthcare and retail. Our focus is on ensuring timely, high-quality and financially responsible service delivery to clients, contributing to an annual revenue of nearly 20 million dollars. In support of that, I manage customer escalations and address or mitigate any issues or risks that arise and provide executive reporting, revenue forecasting, and strategic planning and development. I also lead corporate initiatives relating to mergers and acquisitions, corporate risk analysis and mitigation, and technology implementation. I am passionate about creating impactful experiences. Whether for employees, customers, or beyond the corporate realm, I believe that the way an experience affects us shapes our takeaways. I proactively and intentionally cultivate positive experiences in both personal and professional aspects of life. Seeing others have a positive, memorable experience is one of my core joys. My strengths lie in relationship building, analytical thinking (and layering intuition on top of that) and identifying opportunities for process and experience enhancement.
