I have recently moved out of emergency response industry to education as an office manager for an elementary school. I have helped manage the team\'s fiscal and logistical needs. I have been a liaison for state and federal partners as well as working with independent contractors to complete assigned projects. I have experience working in Emergency Operations Centers. I have received certification as a Basic Instructional Designer. I am an experienced Communications Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in Communications Training, Adult Education, 911 Emergency Communications. Skilled in Operations Management, Crisis Communications, Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, and Project Management. Strong media and communication professional with a Certification as an Emergency Number Professional (ENP) and a graduate of NENA\'s Communications Manager Certification Program (CMCP). I have earned a Certificate of Completion in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management and completing the Emergency Management Basic Academy from FEMA - Emergency Management Institute. I have a special interest in community welfare/public education and training for senior leadership as well as emergency training/education, management, and communications particularly for colleges/universities and nuclear reactors. When I’m not on the job, I love participating in Regnum Christi, retreats and spiritual learning/development, walking and hiking with my family, reading all types of genres and participating/cheering on my children and grandchildren in their various activities.
