ABOUT HEIDI MILLER

Dr. Heidi Miller is an experienced clinician with a demonstrated expertise in anterior segment disease and fitting a wide variety of specialty contact lenses. She is clinically skilled in managing patients with aphakia, dry eye, ocular surface disease, Keratoconus, corneal scarring, postsurgical eyes, and other complex corneal diseases. She has extensive experience with prosthetic contact lenses, scleral lenses and specialty contact lenses as a whole.Dr. Miller received her doctor of optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry where she went on to complete a residency in cornea and contact lenses. She lectures and publishes on topics related to dry eye, anterior segment disease, and specialty contact lenses. She has contributed multiple articles to the “GP Experts” column for Review of Cornea and Contact Lenses. Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a Fellow of the Scleral Lens Education Society and serves on the advisory board for the Gas Permeable Lens Institute. She is past President of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society, a Trustee for the California Optometric Association, and was awarded \"Young Optometrist of the Year” for California 2019.
