We:• Manage the NOAA Fisheries Leadership Council, their meetings, and projects.• Implement NOAA Fisheries’ National Seafood Strategy and E.O. 14276, Restoring American Seafood Competitiveness.• Draft policy analyses on a variety of marine resource management issues and respond to information requests from Congress and stakeholders.• Lead national tribal liaison work and implement E.O. 13175, Consultation and Coordination with Indian Tribes.• Liaise with other NOAA offices on marine protected areas and marine monuments topics.• Support the NOAA Regional Collaboration Network in the North Atlantic, Gulf of America, and nationally.• Provide administrative and budgetary support for the Office of Policy• And for over 16 years, managed all operations of the Marine Fisheries Advisory Committee and its subcommittees; drafted national ocean, blue economy, aquaculture, and fisheries policy strategies; and led agency equity and environmental justice work.
