Practice FocusI concentrate on real estate transactions with a strong emphasis on land use and zoning. My work spans acquisitions, development, sales, and entitlement matters. I regularly guide clients through rezoning processes, negotiate annexation and pre-annexation agreements, structure development agreements, and address complex subdivision issues.Representative Experience • Master-Planned Community Developer: Represented one of the largest master-planned community developers in the U.S. in the acquisition and entitlement of a acre residential project, which included 600 acres of commercial and 300 acres of mixed-use development. Led zoning analysis, entitlement strategy, and parcel disposition to end developers. • Power Generation Company: Represent an international merchant power producer in securing and modifying land use entitlements—including a general plan amendment and special use permit—for the expansion of a 1,060 MW natural gas-fired combined-cycle power plant serving the Southwest. • National Retailer: Advised a national department store chain on the acquisition and entitlement of land for a regional distribution center.
