   Lead a team responsible for global consolidated financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and cash management for a private family firm serving a selected group of complex global families of significant wealth by providing customized wealth management and family office services.Accounting Operations, Management, and Oversight: Oversee monthly close for the Family Office; review monthly/quarterly financial statements; provide timely and accurate Monthly financial and investment reports to Management and Quarterly Client reporting. Developed checklist templates to be used during the close process for 50 entities to reduce errors and omissions. Worked with a third-party provider to enhance and automate monthly and quarterly reports. Overhauled the financial systems to be cloud-based with hosting of Quickbooks, storage of data files in DropBox and invoice processing in Bill.com. Financial Planning and Analysis and Risk Management: Responsible for producing reports to reflect forecasting, cash flow budgeting, tax preparation, tax planning, cash projections and monthly/quarterly income and expense forecasts for all entities. Designed an Excel-based integrated multi-currency budget and forecast model to handle nested entities. Payroll and HR Support Functions: Manage human resources administration, including employee relations, performance appraisals, payroll, and all employee benefit programs. Implemented integrated payroll and benefits system with ADP Run to reduce costs, increase accuracy and reduce liability.Financial Reporting and Tax Planning: Coordinate with external Tax CPA on all tax preparations.Compliance, Regulatory and Statutory: Ensure compliance with Registered Investment Advisor, SEC, federal and state regulatory agency reporting and other requirements.
