continued from above * Technical Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee all treatment machine and software upgrades, working closely with IT. Provide clinical expertise for IT leadership to successfully manage and upgrade system wide servers including legacy servers to be compliant with information security requirements. Upgraded the Varian ARIA EMR system from version 13.6 to version 16. Integrated two ARIA servers from Central and North Texas system to one server. Successfully built a new EPIC EMR system for the department by providing clinical expertise for the analyst. Quality Assurance and Safety Established, maintained, and performed a comprehensive quality assurance program meeting state and federal regulations resulting in standardized workflow processes and easy detection of errors or variances. Obtain and maintain relevant licenses, permits, accreditation and other authorizations required to operate all regional radiation oncology facilities. Oversee radiation safety compliance for all facilities in coordination with the Regional Radiation Safety Officer/Program.
