Responsbilities include requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, solution design and supporting user acceptance testin, providing alternate feasible solutions, recommending appropriate system enhancements, scoping and prioritizing project risks and issues for Oracle HRIS modules.• Providing functional and production support to all functional areas of HR (Core HR, Benefits, Self Service, Manager Self Service, Payroll, Compensation, Talent management and Training) that interface with Oracle HRMS for data. • Initiate and manage service requests (SR’s) for defects, bugs and general support matters with Metalink/Oracle Support to resolution, including escalations, while retaining ownership of the issues.• Responsible for research and resolution of system, process and interfaces issues and maintain data integrity.• Managing Oracle HRMS year end patches and upgrades from inception to production.• Responsible for generating reports using Discoverer and/or using SQL queries.• Facilitating scheduled weekly global meetings and also schedule meetings with business users and all other team members such as developers, DBA’s and System Admin groups as necessary throughout the project cycle. • Active involvement in leading, coordinating and analyzing system requirements, documenting clear and detailed requirements specification documents (MD-50) and functional requirements specification documents (MD-120).• Providing project budget estimates, timeline estimates to upper management and business executives. • Functioning as the primary liaison between the business line, operations, and the technical areas throughout the project cycle. • Expertise in planning and designing the Test Strategy, Test Plans and Test Cases in test directory and executing them. Developing test data for testing. Testing GUI based applications, Inbound and Outbound Interfaces.
