Engineering Manager with 14 years of experience in the industry in Financial Services and Payments Domain.Experience in designing and implementing multiple scalable platforms, self service processes, maintaining and improving scalable systems.Led Axis Bank\'s Savings Account Billing project where we are solving the problem of monthly billing of NEFT/RTGS transactions to real time billing. Led Freecharge\'s Identity Management System.Led Freecharge’s Financial Reconciliation Platform.The platform picks up daily settlement files from external sources like PaymentGateways, AggregatorGateways (billers,recharge partners etc.),internal systems like Wallet on one side and matches the same with corresponding settlement files from Freecharges side, identifies mismatches (aka exceptions), automatically reconciles them with next day data. and ages them. Thishelps finance team only focus on errors that done automatically clear up due to day end issues or other intermittent issues.Self Serve:I designed and implemented initiative to make financial accounting self serve. Moved from 3-4 days of onboardingdevelopment activity for each new onboarding on reconciliation system to self serve dashboards that financialaccounting team can manage themselves. This helped scale platform to support from 10 to 300 daily reconciliations. Developed Generic File Handler to handle all types of files,i.e.csv,xls etc, One just needs to configure headerconfiguration of the file to process it. Built a generic comparator that sums up all transactions based on same recon id to work across allreconciliation types. Implemented self serve REST API’s and Administrative website in AngularJS, enabling finance team toreconcile and onboard new reconciliations. Website also enables the finance team to reload wrong documents and restart reconciliations from earlierdate, fix data related issues etc.
