ABOUT HEDIE KELLY
Over twelve years of teaching experiences, ranging from early childhood to higher education settings, has versed me in the art of communication. I prioritize equal accessibility for all, work towards the continued success of the interpreting profession, and facilitate clear communication between Deaf and hearing individuals, groups, organizations, and entities. Mentoring interpreting students is how I show gratitude to the Deaf Community. Interpreting interns are guided through their own individual journeys with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at the core of my strategic development plan. I emphasize ethical conduct and clear and precise English and American Sign Language interpretations, as a way of becoming mindful interpreters and colleagues.
