As Quality Automation Engineer my daily tasks include but not limited to develop test strategies, analyze complex software systems and code, and ensures that MINDBODY applications work as they should for our users. As QAE troubleshoots and isolates defects, providing regular status reports and updates to ensure MINDBODY maintains the highest quality for its products. I work with developers and business application users to develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases, including the use of automation, performance and test management tools. I develop, modify and executes software test plans, automated scripts, and programs for testing. Analyze and writes test standards and procedures. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action(s). Work full-time alongside another software testers, as well as software engineers to resolve software issues. I strive to facilitate testing across the entire department by creating an efficient process to utilize test automation. Subject matter expert on automation and leads a group of QA Automation Engineers to create test automation tools and automated test cases.
