Manage day to day middle and last mile distribution activities across multiple regions.Maintain and manage the processes and relationships with internal/external partners to ensure on-time execution of all scheduling, shipping, and receiving activities.Coordinate day to day warehousing activities as needed including inventory management and reconciliation with 3PL and co-packing services.Oversee performance, training, and development of logistics team.Develop strategies to manage logistics teams across the country.Subject matter expert for all relevant Tangelo tools and applications.Source loads through approved network of selected carriers to ensure best rate and service level.Maintain up to date database of 3PL vendors and suppliers.Evaluate logistics and distribution KPIs for trends, next steps, and opportunities for improvement and present in weekly ops review with Logistics Director.Work with all transportation partners including small parcel, LTL and FTL vendors to develop, track, analyze and report monthly KPIs.Manage the claims and insurance processing of all shipments / deliveries.Act as liaison between 3PL / vendors and all members of fulfillment and support staff for issues related to failed or missed deliveries.Manage the purchase order process, from requisition until payment approval by Finance.Ensure the on-time review and submission of all freight, distribution, and miscellaneous logistics invoices, while still ensuring accuracy with all contracts and rate agreements.Manage the delivery status update process, ensuring that for all orders, delivery statuses are accurately updated in a timely manner.
