AboutWith over 30 years of international experience in aviation maintenance and inspection, I have developed a career dedicated to airworthiness, safety, and Human Factors application in maintenance operations. My professional background includes key technical and leadership roles with Frontier Airlines, American Airlines, LATAM, Aeroméxico, United Airlines, and Ascent Aviation Services, where I have worked on a wide range of fleets, including the A320 Family, Boeing 737/747/757/767/787, and Airbus A330/A340.As a Human Factors Consultant & Specialist, I focus on integrating human performance, safety culture, and error management into daily maintenance operations. By promoting awareness and training in decision-making, communication, teamwork, and risk assessment, I support organizations in minimizing errors and maximizing operational reliability.My combined expertise covers:Human Factors Awareness & Training for maintenance teams.Aviation Safety & SMS Programs aligned with FAA and international authorities.Aircraft Inspections, Troubleshooting & Avionics Systems across multiple fleets.Mentorship & Team Leadership, strengthening technical skills and safety culture.Regulatory Compliance with FAA, AFAC (Mexico), Transport Canada, and Chilean DGAC.Throughout my career, I have been recognized with multiple FAA Safety Awards (Gold & Silver), the “Unsung Hero” Award from ST Aerospace, and Employee of the Month honors at both American Airlines and Ascent Aviation Services. These distinctions reflect not only technical expertise, but also my commitment to ethics, integrity, and human-centered safety practices.Currently, I serve with Frontier Airlines (PHX), performing inspections, mentoring junior technicians, and applying Human Factors principles to enhance both safety and operational efficiency. My ongoing mission is to bridge technical excellence with Human Factors awareness, ensuring safer, more reliable aviation operations worldwide.
