Hello! My name is Heba, and I am a fourth-year Neuroscience and Physiology major at Wright State University. My passion lies in understanding the complexities of the human nervous system and applying that knowledge to improve patient care. Through this, I aspire to become a Physician Assistant specializing in neurology and neurosurgery. Neurosurgery specifically fascinates me because of its intricacy and great impact it has on patients\' lives. The nervous system controls the entirety of human function, so even the smallest intervention can make a life-changing difference. Seeing how neurosurgical procedures restore movement, ease pain, and improve cognitive function fuels my desire to be a part of this field.Through my education, shadowing, and clinical experiences, I have gained a deep appreciation for the teamwork required in neurosurgical care.
